Port Logistics Realty (PLR), a national industrial real estate development and investment company, today announced that Tyler Williams has joined the company as director of investments.
With more than ten years of real estate investment and development experience, Williams will focus on the company’s industrial property acquisition and development activities across the United States.
“Tyler brings strong industry experience to our team and an outstanding track record in development and property acquisitions,” said Rob Huthnance, president of PLR Development. “His capabilities along with our national platform should be a great combination, and we look forward to the instrumental role he will play in expanding our presence nationwide.”
Prior to joining PLR, Williams was on the industrial acquisitions and development team at CT Realty, where he focused on the Southern California and Texas markets for three years. In addition, Williams worked on the acquisitions team at Crown Realty & Development, where he executed industrial, office and multifamily transactions.
An active leader in the commercial real estate community, Williams is involved in both the Urban Land Institute and the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) SoCal chapter. He recently sat on the Sponsorship Committee for the SoCal chapter and is a 2015 graduate of its Young Professionals Group program. Williams earned a Bachelor of Arts in Finance from the University of Utah and a master’s degree in Real Estate Development from Columbia University.
