Annual Shopping Event, Presented By Bank of Texas, Will Be Held October 28 - November 6, 2016
The Family Place and Partners Card 2016 Co-chairs Elizabeth Dacus, Jane Rozelle and Samantha Wortley are excited to announce Lisa Cooley will serve as honorary chair of the annual Partners Card shopping event, which will take place Friday, October 28 through November 6, 2016. Presented by Bank of Texas, Partners Card offers an exciting opportunity to receive a 20 percent discount at more than 750 participating retail locations and restaurants while at the same time contributing to a worthwhile cause – family violence intervention and prevention. One hundred percent of the proceeds from card sales directly benefit The Family Place, Dallas’ longest-serving family violence agency.
Since she moved to Dallas more than 30 years ago, Lisa has shown her support for the local community through membership at Preston Road Church of Christand a family business venture, Clay Cooley Automotive Group, with her husband Clay. Through sponsorships and underwriting, Lisa is able to support many organizations and has become a notable philanthropist in Dallas.
Recently, Lisa served as Honorary Chair for Housing Crisis Center’s Fifth Annual Patriot Party, Heroes for Children’s Heroes and Handbags Luncheon, and was a chair for Children’s Cancer Fund Gala. In addition to her commitment to The Family Place, she also supports:Crystal Charity Ball, Cattle Baron’s Ball, New Friends New Life and Family Gateway, along with other Dallas-based organizations.

In 2015, Partners Card celebrated its 23rd year with more than 750 participating retailers and restaurants selling 14,600 cards and raising more than $1.15 million for The Family Place. In its history, the community has helped raise more than $16 million through the Partners Card program.
