MYCON General Contractors announced today the promotions of six employees to new roles within the company, according to Doug Talley, MYCON’s president.
Lou Arrieta has been promoted to chief estimator. He joined MYCON in 2010 and has more than 30 years of experience in the construction industry. In his new role, Lou will lead the development of his team members, focus on nurturing client relationships and work with senior management on developing business growth strategies while incorporating new technologies and methodologies in the estimating process.
Al Arjona was promoted to senior superintendent. Al began his career with MYCON in 2004 and has been involved in many notable projects in South Texas over the years. As a senior superintendent, Al demonstrates effective leadership, organizational and time-management skills along while proactively managing client relationships.
Kyle Gallagher was promoted to senior project engineer. Kyle began working with MYCON in 2011 as an intern while pursuing his Bachelor of Science degree in construction engineering from the University of North Texas. He joined MYCON in May 2014. Kyle demonstrates a strong commitment to delivering a quality product with an avid attention to detail which are valuable assets to both clients and project teams.
Ryan Stoll, LEED AP BD+C, has been promoted to senior project manager. Ryan joined MYCON as an assistant project manager in 2011 and has quickly risen through the ranks due to his outstanding skills and performance. Ryan holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from West Texas A&M University and a Bachelor of Science degree in construction science from Texas A&M University.
Hayden Tuley was promoted to project manager. Hayden joined MYCON as a project engineer after receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in construction science from Texas A&M University in the spring of 2012. He was promoted to assistant project manager in 2015 and excels in his ability to take on new responsibilities. In his role as project manager, he will be managing the direction, completion and financial outcome of multiple projects from start to finish.
Michael (Mike) Williams has been promoted to director of preconstruction. Mike joined MYCON in 2012 as preconstruction manager and brought with him more than 12 years of construction and business experience. In his new role, Mike will work with clients, designers and other team members to assess and define owners’ goals in order to maximize value prior to the start of the construction. Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla.
