MYCON General Contractors has broken ground on a new project, the Spring Creek Center Medical Office Building (MOB), located near the southwest corner of Spring Creek Parkway and the Dallas North Tollway in Plano, Texas.
The $5.8 million project consists of site work and shell construction of a two-story, 48,000 sf multi-tenant facility. The project team includes owner/developer Haggard Property Group; owner’s representative, Bjerke Management Solutions; and project architect, O'Brien Architects.
“This Class-A MOB project is being fast-tracked and is leasing up as we build it,” says John Riggins, MYCON’s vice president of office and industrial. “We have a great team, having worked together for other clients, and our healthcare construction experience and lean construction processes will enable us to deliver a quality project on time and as budgeted.”
According to Bill Rudd, vice president of Haggard Property Group, Ltd., "Toby Haggard and I believe the time is right to introduce a state-of-the-art medical office building, such as Spring Creek Center MOB, to the booming West Plano market. Pre-leasing continues to build momentum with three medical practices already under lease and several others in the works."
The Spring Creek Center MOB is scheduled for completion in October 2016.
