Now fully leased, the 28,000-sf Millennium Center will be the flagship site for a brand-new youth fitness concept, All Star Ninjas.
Justin and Jennifer Lackey, owners of Utopia Fitness, have leased 7,500 sf at 2000 Matlock Rd. in Mansfield, which was previously occupied by Cook's Children Rehabilitation Services. Slated to open in January, All Star Ninjas will feature warrior obstacle courses, personal training and boot camps for adults and children.
Cindy Dao, associate of Coldwell Banker Commercial Advisors DFW, represented the California-based landlord, Carriere Holdings, in the direct deal. The neighborhood center is anchored by a 20,500-sf Ace Hardware.
"This space has been vacant for more than a year. With the help of Coldwell Banker Commercial Advisors, Millennium Center is now fully leased," says Raymond Carriere, principal partner. "I look forward to working with Cindy on future investments."
All Star Ninjas will be a full-service fitness and entertainment center, offering a variety of activities and programs promoting healthy lifestyles. The activities' lineup will include children's birthday parties.
"This new concept should be the talk of the town and surrounding areas," Justin Lackey says.
The Lackeys are marking their 13th year in the fitness center business. All Star Ninjas will be located roughly three miles north of Utopia Fitness, also in Mansfield.
"The Lackeys have been planning to expand for some time. Millennium Center is surrounded by residential neighborhoods. It's an ideal location for a family-focused fitness center," Dao says.
