
Leslie Coolidge
Riveron Consulting,a financial consulting firm that helps clients maximize the value of both strategic and financial transactions throughout the business transaction life cycle, including acquisition, integration, operations and divestiture, is pleased to announce Leslie Coolidge as the national technical director.
“We are extremely pleased to have Leslie join our team,” said Riveron COO Chaitan Fahnestock. “Her depth of knowledge will help us not only develop and improve our technical accounting and financial reporting abilities, but also better serve our clients and enhance our brand as advisors and problem solvers.”
As national technical director, Coolidge will lead the technical accounting and financial reporting strategy, organize and deploy the technical team, support growth among all service lines and serve as an expert to our clients. She will also serve as a member of the executive staff and financial advisory services practice through the service line committee, where she will provide counsel and define broader strategies for Riveron Consulting. Coolidge will primarily work out of the company’s Chicago office.
Coolidge has more than 30 years of experience in public accounting as a CFO advisor for Resources Global Professionals and audit and SEC reviewing partner with KPMG. She’s led significant global audit engagements and assisted companies across a number of industries including pharmaceuticals, medical devices, biotechnology, media, software, telecommunications, consumer products and manufacturing. Her expertise includes initial and secondary public offerings, spin-offs, acquisitions and due diligence engagements, Audit Committee and SEC investigations and restatements, and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
Currently, Coolidge is on the boards for the Chicago Academy of Sciences and its Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum, and the International Crane Foundation (ICF). She previously served as vice chair of ICF’s board of directors and as a member of the executive committee. She chaired its finance and endowment committee, and is currently a member of the board’s audit, program and development committees.
Coolidge received her Bachelor of Arts in government from Harvard University and Master of Science in accounting from New York University. She is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and a certified public accountant in Illinois and New York.
