DowntownABQ MainStreet Initiative to Receive $7,500 Grant from Wells Fargo, FHLB Dallas

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas (FHLB Dallas) and Wells Fargo will award Albuquerque nonprofit DowntownABQ MainStreet Initiative $7,500 in Partnership Grant Program (PGP) grant funds. Representatives from FHLB Dallas, Wells Fargo, the city of Albuquerque, and DowntownABQ MainStreet Initiative will attend a check presentation on Monday, August 29 at 1:30 p.m. at Robinson Park, 810 Copper Avenue NW, Albuquerque, New Mexico. The media is encouraged to attend.

Presented annually, PGP grants are awarded to community-based organizations. The grants may be used for research, organizational capacity-building, grant- and funding-application assistance, or contractual services.

DowntownABQ MainStreet Initiative will use the funds for capacity building within its Downtown Growers’ Market program. Currently in its 20th year of existence, the Downtown Growers’ Market has been home to more than 60 New Mexico farmers offering locally grown products to the Albuquerque community in historic Robinson Park.
