FORT WORTH, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Double Eagle Energy Holdings II announced that Richard A. Burnett has joined the Company to serve as its Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Burnett brings two decades of financial management, accounting and public company expertise to Double Eagle’s executive leadership team.

Mr. Burnett was most recently with EXCO Resources, Inc. (NYSE: XCO) from 2013-2016, where he served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Burnett was previously a partner at KPMG LLP where he spent 12 years primarily serving the oil and gas industry. He began his career at Arthur Andersen LLP.
