In anticipation of opening the first of six homes in their residential-style assisted living and memory care neighborhood, Mustang Creek Estates of Burleson invites the public to celebrate and welcome this unique style of senior living to the area. To share this milestone with others, Mustang Creek Estates of Burleson will host a “Pardon Our Dust” preview luncheon on Tuesday, September 13 at 1155 John Jones Drive in Burleson. Attendees can come and go during the fun and lively event from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., tour the nearly finished home and celebrate the soon-to-be-open community. The event will feature complimentary valet service, a home-style lunch provided by Burleson-based Sunday Dinner Catering Services, and raffle prizes will be drawn for those present to win. Members of the Burleson Chamber of Commerce and the Mustang Creek Estates leadership team, including founders Renee Ramsey and John Roach, will be present. The team at Mustang Creek Estates is committed to creating a home where seniors can feel safe and secure in a friendly and loving environment. Locally-owned, Mustang Creek Estates has been in business for over 10 years with sister communities in Allen, Frisco and Keller, and has plans to expand further in North Texas.
“We are thrilled to be a part of the Burleson community, and we feel that the residents are true extensions of our own families,” said Renee Ramsey, CEO and co-founder of Mustang Creek Estates. “Our affordable, neighborhood-style environment makes it easy for residents to feel comfortable, engaged and immediately at home. They can make their own schedules, enjoy the smells and tastes of home-cooked meals, participate in activities and spend time visiting with their neighbors. Each home in our community is designed to be warm, inviting and enriching to our residents, with all the comforts of home and at an affordable price.”
The $7-million, 42,000-square-foot assisted living and memory care community will open its first of six homes this fall and is thoughtfully set up like the neighborhood, with up to 16 seniors living in each home. The focal point of each home is the open kitchen where residents can see their food being prepared from scratch and smell the aromas of home-cooked, delicious meals. Residents receive personal assisted care and enjoy participating in enriching and fun daily activities in their home and other homes throughout the community. This flexible schedule allows residents to continue living as they did at home. The community will create 50 jobs, and the well-trained, compassionate staff will provide high-quality care for 90 residents.
The intimate size allows staff to really get to know the residents personally. Mustang Creek Estates has found that its model creates bonds similar to the ones families share, and it leads to more individualized attention and care paid to each of its residents. As a result, deeper relationships develop in an extremely loving environment.
“This approach is like nothing else in Burleson, and we know this style of senior living will have a positive impact on Burleson seniors and their families,” said Kevin Willmeth, executive director of Mustang Creek Estates of Burleson. “We’re looking forward to continuing to enhance the lives seniors have created for themselves in Burleson and to being an extension of the community at large.”
The assisted living and memory care community looks forward to welcoming the Burleson community to its upcoming preview celebration to share what makes Mustang Creek Estates of Burleson special in the hearts of seniors and families. The public is invited to attend and should RSVP by calling 817-372-1773 or emailing elizabeth@mustangcreekestates.com.
