Maxim Management Group, a regional leader in specialty health care management, is delighted to announce that the Weatherford Rehabilitation Hospital (703 Eureka Street in Weatherford) just celebrated its one year anniversary. The significant milestone was celebrated on October 27 with a special event and ribbon cutting. Attendees enjoyed refreshments and participated in a meet and greet with the hospital’s rehab team, toured the state-of-the-art facility and underwent free fall-risk assessments during the event or scheduled one for a later date.
“The opening of the Weatherford Rehabilitation Hospital one year ago came at a pivotal time, as seniors in need of rehabilitation and physical therapy in cities west of Fort Worth were relying exclusively on rehab facilities in Fort Worth, resulting in an hour long commute one way for many seniors and their families,” said Mark J. Harris, CEO of Maxim Management Group. “With the opening of this facility, families can access high quality rehabilitative services within a closer proximity to their homes. The medical community has been very supportive of the inpatient physical rehabilitation services, and they have embraced Maxim’s role in the continuum of care in Weatherford. In the last year, several seniors’ needs have been met, and we expect to serve even more people in the coming months and years.”
