Corbet Design + Build, a boutique design build firm based in Dallas, recently announced Travis Walker as the company’s new director of business development. In this position, Walker will oversee external marketing efforts, new projects and client acquisition.
“I couldn’t be more excited to be a part of Corbet’s team,” said Walker. “As director of business development, I’m eager to pursue new and exciting projects that will further establish the firm as regional leader in the construction industry.”
Prior to joining Corbet, Walker worked at PE-Services, an engineering firm, where he assisted with business development. He also previously served and excelled as a sales representative for Eclipse Aesthetics, increasing sales in his designated territory by 400 percent within one year.
“I’m thrilled to be able to use my past experience and the passion I’ve always had for this industry to serve as director of business development,” Walker added. “Working with such a creative and collaborative team has been a dream of mine for a long time, and I am enthusiastic about the future of Corbet Design + Build and the work we’ll be doing in 2017.”
A graduate of Texas Tech University, Walker enjoys serving his community in his spare time and an array of hobbies, including hunting, fly fishing, snowboarding, reading and traveling. Additionally, he is a current member of the Construction Leadership Network and Watermark Community Church, where he is active in the church’s singles ministry.
