Real estate investment firm reaches 8,500 units and $650 million assets under management
Nitya Capital, a privately held real estate investment firm today announced the acquisition of two Class B properties in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. These properties add 683 units to the company’s rapidly expanding portfolio, which now includes a total of 8,500 units and $650 million assets under management.
The Class B multifamily properties included in this acquisition are Residence at Arlington, formerly known as The Dakota, and Residence at Lake Highlands. Residence at Arlington consists of 436 units and Residence at Lake Highlands consists of 247 units. Both properties are near major employment centers, retail shops and entertainment venues.

Nitya plans to continue the rehabilitation of these properties by installing granite countertops, plank wood flooring, kitchen backsplash, new cabinets, upgraded appliances, and contemporary fixtures. The firm will also put in significant resources to upgrade the building exteriors, landscaping, drive-by curb appeal, and other resident amenities.
Each of the properties will be managed by Nitya Capital’s fully-owned and operated property management company, Karya Property Management.
