In a new study, SmartAsset analyzed data to find the states and major U.S. cities with the highest 2020 Census response rates as of May 4, 2020. We also uncovered the locations with the highest percentage of respondents who have taken advantage of the new online response option introduced this year.
Out of the 50 most-populous U.S. cities, Dallas has the 10th-lowest response rate. About 48.6% of households in Dallas had completed their Census questionnaires as of May 4, 2020.
