Plans to develop 336-unit multi-family community at Saint Nicholas Place

Taeken, Ltd. announced today that Alliance Residential Company has purchased 13.08 acres of land at 12115 Main Street near the Texas Medical Center to develop a 336-unit multi-family community as part of Saint Nicholas Place.

The property is part of a 46.82-acre tract owned by the seller, Taeken, Ltd. Saint Nicholas School Headmistress Margot Heard said the land sale is part of a larger vision for the property to create a village concept around a new school campus.

“Alliance is known for developing great multi-family communities, and we are happy to have them as new neighbors,” Heard said. “With the addition of this multi-family component, we will be a step closer to fulfilling a broad community concept for the neighborhood.”

Alliance plans to develop a three-story garden apartment community with one- and two-bedroom units. The company owns and manages numerous multi-family properties in Houston.

“The Med Center is a vital part of the Houston economy, and we look forward to providing a great new multi-family community within close proximity to nearby workplaces, schools, retail and restaurants,” said David Adame, Development Associate at Alliance Residential.

JLL’s Chris Bergmann Jr. represented the seller in the transaction. Alliance was not represented.

Commercial tracts are now available and listed through JLL that front on Main Street. Nineteen acres are being reserved for Saint Nicholas School.

Patin Construction Group is the general contractor on the project.

Saint Nicholas School offers a Classical school for PK-Grade 8 and a Montessori Lower School. Enrollment is currently open for Summer Camp and the School Year.
