Gregory Brown, Director of Operations for E4D Technologies, oversees production of R-Water’s devices.
Texas-based R-Water has partnered with E4D Technologies, a medical device manufacturer located in the Dallas area, to ramp up production of their advanced cleaning and disinfecting technology.
This timely partnership comes as Texas officials report record-breaking spikes in COVID-19 hospitalizations, up 37%on June 22, 2020, as compared to the previous week. R-Water and E4D are focused on providing front line relief for local healthcare facilities and other businesses who have struggled to procure critical disinfecting supplies.
Low supplies of disinfectant have left businesses to contend with serious supply chain concerns and exorbitant mark-ups. R-Water’s devices connect to a facility’s water supply and produce hundreds of gallons of hypoallergenic disinfectant on-site each day, without the need for harmful chemical concentrates or additives. TK60 One-Step Disinfectant is healthcare-grade and proven to eliminate COVID-19, MRSA, and other dangerous germs in just one minute, ten times faster than most products found on the EPA's N-List.
Kurt Thomas, retired NBA player, father, and early investor in R-Water recognized the importance of TK60’s one-minute contact time years before the COVID-19 pandemic. “When I discovered how much quicker R-Water’s product killed germs, I knew it was a better choice for schools and athletic facilities. Then I saw how many hazardous brand name chemicals I could remove from my own home and I knew it was a game changer!” said Thomas.
The ability to produce a fast acting and highly effective disinfectant on site has been especially crucial for hospitals and extended care facilities, allowing them to focus on providing quality care for their patients and residents, rather than devoting valuable time and energy procuring disinfectants.
Christus Trinity Mother Frances Health System has utilized R-Water’s technology since 2018 with spectacular results. Liz Shelton, Administrative Director shares, “During a time when reliability and capacity are so important, and supply and distribution networks are closely monitored, it has been comforting to know we can perform crucial tasks quickly and safely, without the possibility of a back-ordered product.”
