Slim Chickens to open North Richland Hills location
Fast-casual restaurant chain Slim Chickens has acquired a 1.25-acre pad site located at 9005 N. Tarrant Parkway in North Richland Hills, with plans to build a third North Texas location. Slim Chickens currently operates restaurants in Fort Worth and Hurst. Bryan Cornelius and Larry Leon with Venture Commercial represented the buyer, a Slim Chickens franchisee. Moore Matthews with The Matthews Commercial Group represented the landlord.
Waffle House to build restaurant at Fort Worth’s Westover Village
Waffle House, Inc. has acquired .6-acre pad site in the Westover Village shopping center, located on the northeast corner of Alta Mere Drive and Green Oaks in Fort Worth. Westover Village is anchored by Super Target, and tenants include Half Price Books, Party City, Petco, Chase Bank and Charming Charlie. Venture’s Chris Corbin, along with Michael Dearden, represented the landlord, St. Louis-based Summit Realty, in lease negotiations. The tenant was self-represented.
Taco Bell to build at Austin Ranch in Lewisville
Taco Bell America, LLC has signed a ground lease on a one-acre pad site to build a restaurant at the northwest quadrant of Plano Parkway and Tittle Road in Lewisville, in the west addition to Billingsley Company’s master planned community of Austin Ranch. Clay Mote with Venture represented Billingsley in lease negotiations. Kyle Gill with Faithbridge Realty, LLC represented the tenant.
Hutchins pad site sold to Burger King, Popeye’s franchisee
Mote with Venture also represented the seller of a 1.5-acre pad site located at the northeast corner of South Interstate 45 and Wintergreen Road in Hutchins. Tom Paredes of the John T. Evans Company represented the buyer, Firebrand Properties, which will build a Burger King and a Popeye’s Louisiana Kitchen restaurant on the site.
Take 5 Oil Change signs lease to build Medical City Dallas location
Take 5 Oil Change, LLC has signed a ground lease on a .5-acre pad site located at 7817 Forest Lane near Medical City Hospital in Dallas. Venture’s Mote represented the tenant in lease negotiations, while the landlord Alderi, Inc. was self-represented.
