MYCON General Contractors has appointed healthcare and hospitality construction veteran Jacob Riney as vice president of the firm. Riney will be responsible for the leadership and management of the firm’s healthcare, senior living and hospitality construction projects, including preconstruction services.

Prior to joining MYCON, Riney spent the past nine years as an executive with a top general contractor in the North Texas region. His projects have included a ‘who’s who’ of healthcare clients, including Scott & White, Baylor, Reliant, Presbyterian, and United Surgical Partners International, among others. His hospitality projects include both new construction and renovation projects, such as The Ritz-Carlton, Dallas and Hyatt East, DFW Airport, Texas.
Riney holds numerous healthcare-related credentials, including the Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) designation, the Health Care Construction Certified (HCC) designation, and Evidence-Based Design Accreditation and Certification (EDAC). He is also a LEED® AP BD+C.
