Stream Realty Partners Secures 170,000 SF Lease with New York-Based Firm
Stream Realty Partners (Stream) and J.P. Morgan Asset Management today announced that New York-based Goldman Sachs has selected Trammell Crow Center for its Dallas area office location. The firm will relocate from its office campus in Las Colinas to 170,000 square feet of office space at Trammell Crow Center by the first quarter of 2018. Institutional investors advised by J.P. Morgan Asset Management own the iconic tower.
Goldman Sachs will become Trammell Crow Center’s anchor tenant once the company relocates to 2001 Ross Avenue. Stream’s Ramsey March, Sara Terry, and Scott Sowanick negotiated the long-term lease on behalf of J.P. Morgan Asset Management.
“We believe Goldman Sachs’ move to Ross Avenue highlights the appeal of our location to major corporations,” said Ramsey March, managing director at Stream. “Trammell Crow Center, in its new form, will not only deliver the 21st century amenities similar tenants demand, but also dramatically change the pedestrian experience on Ross Avenue.”
This significant office lease coincides with Stream and J.P. Morgan’s unveiling of a $135 million renovation and expansion plan of the 1.2 million-square-foot building. The redevelopment will include significant enhancements to the building’s interior lobby, lower exterior and plaza. The complementary mixed-use development on Ross Avenue will be anchored by more than 26,000 square feet of restaurant-driven retail space. The collective 5-acre transformation will include a parking facility with more than 2,000 additional parking spaces and serve as a new attraction for visitors to the Arts District and Klyde Warren Park.
