DLA Piper announced today that the firm has moved its Dallas office to 1900 Pearl, a modern 25-story building located in the Dallas Arts District. The office was previously located at 1717 Main Street.
The firm occupies space on the 21st and 22nd floors of the building, which offers world-class architecture and amenities, including a 5.2-acre park with walking trails and a performance pavilion, fine and casual dining restaurants, a fitness center with a basketball court and yoga room, a luxury lounge space for cocktails and meetings, a 14th floor open-air balcony with views of downtown Dallas and Klyde Warren Park, and a three-story parking garage.
“This move is part of our continued expansion plan in Dallas, where we have more than quadrupled in size since early 2018,” said Marc Katz, managing partner of DLA Piper in Dallas. “With plans to continue expanding in the region through 2019, our new office space underscores DLA Piper’s presence in Texas as a global business law firm. The move is also part of the firm’s overall real estate strategy of having state-of-the-art office space across the country that reflects a consistent global brand and provides an efficient, modern environment where our lawyers and staff can work together to serve clients.”
The expansion in Dallas has included the addition of Employment partners Marc Katz and Isabel Crosby; Restructuring partner Daniel Prieto; Corporate and Healthcare partner Richard Cheng; Corporate partner Steven Bartz; and Litigation partners Daniel Tobey, Jason Lewis, Jason Hopkins, Rob Hoffman, Michael Moore and Matthew Nickel.
DLA Piper's Dallas office is comprised of lawyers who focus on a broad range of practices and sectors, including employment, litigation, healthcare, product liability and mass torts, corporate, M&A, private equity, restructuring, real estate and finance, securities litigation and enforcement, and white collar defense and government investigations.
