Partners today announced that two of its professionals have been added to the company’s roster of partners: Carlos Marquez and Darren O’Conor, both of the company’s Industrial Group. Notably, Mr. Marquez marks the first Partner-level professional based in the company’s San Antonio office and was among the company’s Top 10-producing brokers for 2019 — also a first for the San Antonio office.

Mr. Marquez has more than a decade of commercial real estate experience, and has recently completed several large sales, including a 260-acre land sale for Oelkers at Country Road 445 in Halletsville, Texas; the sale of 1150 Schwab Road, a 409,685-sq.-ft. distribution center in Schertz, Texas; and the 3,400-acre land sale in South Mission and McAllen in which Laredo-based Killam Development purchased the land from Hunt Valley Development for a master-planned community.
Mr. O’Conor has been working in the commercial real estate business for over 15 years, and is regularly among the company’s most prolific dealmakers. Some of his recent significant deals include a 41,866-sq.-ft. industrial lease for Henry Avocado Corporation at 4300 Windfern Road in Houston; a 25,750-sq.-ft. industrial sale for Stephan Lett at 7101 John Ralston Road in Houston; and a 14,965-sq.-ft. industrial lease for SRI Energy, Inc. at 12565 W. Airport Boulevard in Houston.
